The Astoria

The homes of the Victorian era indisputably contain the most interesting foyers of any architectural period. Frequently, these entry rooms were large enough to serve as auxiliary living spaces for the large families that occupied them. We gave Astoria a bayed foyer ample enough for a cozy sitting area; properly furnished, it will instantly evoke this lovely architectural period. Directly above the foyer, the master bath suite repeats the bay windows below; note the amount of counter space, the separate shower and oversized tub. A laundry chute in the master closet places clothes in the huge laundry room directly below.
